In support of our workforce of tomorrow, the Chamber will award four scholarships to Botetourt County graduating seniors. The four scholarships will be awarded to one senior from James River High School, Lord Botetourt High School, Botetourt Technical Education Center and a homeschool student who resides in Botetourt County.
Recipients are recognized for their commitment to further their education, focus on specific career goals and involvement in the community. Each will receive a $1,000 scholarship thanks to the generous support of the Chamber members and sponsors. The award is paid directly to the postsecondary institution at the beginning of the school year.
Visit the scholarship website for details and apply today. (Please note that all applications will be submitted electronically this year.)
We rely on donations from our Chamber members, sponsors, and the community to be able to offer these scholarships to our graduating seniors. Please consider making a donation on behalf of our students. Your donation is tax deductible. Please register to make a donation and select documents to print a copy of the letter.
The scholarships are possible due to the generous donations of our Chamber Board of Directors and our members. Business sponsors are listed under sponsorships.
